This jewelry is hand made in Italy. Delivery time is 1- 4 weeks depending on availability. You will receive an update on the delivery time from us by email after your purchase.

We currently ship to all European Union countries and the United States. If you wish to ship to any other country please contact us via our contact form.

• All orders are shipped via FEDEX on business days (Monday to Friday) excluding holidays.

• We are unable to ship to PO Box or military addresses. 

• For international orders, please allow additional time for customs clearance

Betony Vernon Online Boutique offers its US customers a special service that saves you time, effort and worry. When we ship to the US, we take care of all the necessary customs formalities and the payment of duties and import fees on your behalf, so you can simply enjoy hassle-free shopping in our store. 

How does it work? 

Import duties and fees are levied on imports of jewelry from Italy under the laws of the United States. Usually the recipient of the goods is responsible for the payment of duties and fees and has to deal with customs and other authorities involved in the import process. 

To save you having to go through all these procedures, we do it for you. When you make a purchase in our online boutique, we charge a deposit that will be used by us and our carrier to cover the appropriate duties and fees on your or the recipient’s behalf. You will receive from us a transparent and clear statement of all the payments covered by your deposit. We reimburse funds if the actual amount is less than the deposit you paid and we keep you free from risk if the duties and fees should exceed the paid deposit. You will never be charged additional money above what you paid at the time of purchase! 

How much is the deposit?

The product prices displayed on the website for US customers already include the estimated import duties and fees in the form of a 20% deposit on the net price of the goods. This estimation is based on our experience from selling to US customers over the years. The actual percentage varies slightly according to the kind of jewelry. Duties and fees are also subject to change by the authorities – often without prior notice. This is why we cannot give a 100% accurate estimation upfront.

How will I be refunded if the actual costs are less than the deposit I paid? How long will it take?

First we will email you a detailed overview of all payments incurred in the import process. If the actual import duty and fees are less than the deposit charged at the time of purchase you will be refunded the difference. The refund options are:
i) Money refund via PayPal to your PayPal account (need to have a valid Paypal account)
ii) Gift Voucher in US dollars for your next purchase from BV Online Boutique. 
iii) Wire transfer to a bank account (please note that the bank charges incurred will have to be paid by the account holder)
You decide and tell us how you want the refund to be arranged.

The refund process takes 45 to 60 days from the shipment date. 

What if the real import duty or fees exceed the deposit I was charged? 

If the actual import duty and fees exceeds the deposit we calculated and charged, B.V. Di Betony Vernon & C. sas will cover the extra costs. You will never be charged any extra amount.
